OPD version 6.50 takes 30 seconds (including producing detailed output to Excel) to value a UK pension plan with more than 20,000 members.  OPD650 includes further significant improvements in speed, customisation and a new "Store valuation run automatically in batch file" in OPD650 - see here for screenshots and short video clips.

New in OPD 5.90: the drilldown cashflow projection method has been improved to calculate and show present values (using any specified yield curve [NB using any primary yield curve only, i.e. any dual curve is ignored] for each individual member. Simply select which set of detailed drilldown cashflows you want included in the output (NB past service values + future contribution rates will be calculated whichever of the 3 drilldown choices you select).

(NB the number of cashflows could be significantly higher for larger pension plans, or for situations where non zero withdrawal decrements apply at a large range of ages, due to a multiplier effect of exits from actives producing significant extra widow/widower cashflows - our example file assumes no withdrawals. If the number of cashflows exceeds about 800,000, you may need to split the data up into several files to avoid running out of memory, or exceeding Excel 2007's 1.6m rows per worksheet).
